Rain likely in parts of Bangladesh Saturday

The met office Saturday predicted rain or thundershowers at one or two places of the country.



 The met office Saturday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at one or two places of the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am Sunday.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Kishoregonj and Brahmanbaria," said a met office release here Saturday.
As an outlook for the next 72 hours the bulletin predicted that the rainfall activity is likely to increase.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.1 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and today's minimum temperature was recorded 20.2 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur.
The sun sets at 6.18pm today and rises at 5.42am tomorrow in the capital.
