Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared that Iran will firmly resist any war imposed upon it and reject any peace forced under pressure.

“This nation will not surrender to anyone under pressure,” Khamenei said during a televised address on Wednesday.

In a pointed reference to U.S. President Donald Trump, he warned that Iranians do not respond to threats and cautioned that any U.S. military involvement in Israeli actions could lead to “uncontrollable consequences.”

“If the United States takes part in Israeli attacks, the damage will be irreparable,” Khamenei stated.
