OIC Strongly Condemns Israeli Attack on Qatar’s Doha

Jeddah, 09-09-2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression against the Qatari capital, Doha, on 9 September 2025, in blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and international norms. The OIC strongly denounces this attack, which constitutes a dangerous escalation threatening the security and stability of the region and undermining international security and peace.  The OIC countries condemn this horrific attack on the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of the State of Qatar.

The OIC Secretary-General affirms that the OIC, in the spirit of its Charter and the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and Council of Foreign Ministers, categorically rejects any attack on the sovereignty and security of any member state.  

The OIC expresses full solidarity with the State of Qatar and supports its security, territorial integrity, stability, and safety of Qatar’s citizens and residents, stressing its backing for all steps taken by the State of Qatar to protect its security and sovereignty.

The OIC renews its call on the international community, particularly, the Security Council, to assume its responsibility by compelling Israel to stop its dangerous and ongoing attacks in the region and to commit to the respect of international law and international legitimacy resolutions. – OIC News
