ACC forms committee to probe allegations against Ziaul Ahsan

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)



Dhaka, Dec 18 - The Anti- Corruption Commission ( ACC) on Wednesday formed a three-member committee to investigate the allegations against Major General (rtd) Ziaul Ahsan.

Deputy director of ACC Salauddin was made the head of the committee while assistant director Ranjit Kumar Sarkar and deputy assistant director Jabed Hasan Sajal were made members, ACC spokesperson Aktarul said.

Over the past decade of his career, he has been criticised for his various involvement in controversial activities including enforced disappearances and murders.

Ziaul Ahsan also served in RAB, National Security Intelligence (NSI) agency, and National Telecommunication Monitoring Center (NTMC).-UNB
