Dhaka, Oct 10 - A Dhaka court on Thursday sent former Member of Parliament from Sunamganj-5 Mohibur Rahman Manik to jail in a case over the attack on a student during the mass uprising.

Defense lawyer Abdul Hamid said, the former MP was not present at the scene during the attack on students, yet he was named as an accused.
