Two minor girls found dead in Tangail pond

Two minor girls, who went missing on Saturday noon, were found dead in a pond of Pashchimpara village in Sakhipur upazila of Tangail district.



Two minor girls, who went missing on Saturday noon, were found dead in a pond of Pashchimpara village in Sakhipur upazila of Tangail district.
The deceased were known as Mim, 9, daughter of Kamrul Hasan and Jhuma Akter, 9, Jhuma Akter.
Local sources said the two children left home after taking launch and went missing. Later, their bodies were recovered from a pond at night.
Sakhipur police station Officer-in-Charge Rezaul Karim said investigation is underway to know the reasons behind their death.
