Jubo League leader shot dead in Narsingdi
Narsingdi, Oct 23 – A Jubo League leader was shot dead by unknown assailants at the Narsingdi Municipal Eidgah ground, police said.
The deceased was identified as Md Rana Mia (35) of Kauriapara area of Narsingdi municipality.
Rana was the Liberation War Affairs secretary of the Narsingdi District Awami Jubo League.
He was attacked by miscreants at around 9:30pm on Monday at the Narsingdi Municipal Eidgah ground, said Narsingdi Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Kashem.
Later, locals rescued him and took him to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. - UNB
