The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh has launched Season 2 of SDG Socialisers, bringing together a new group of content creators who will use their creativity and influence to generate conversations and inspire action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The initiative focuses on translating complex development issues into simple, engaging content, a UNDP press release said today.

Building on the success of Season 1, the new cohort brings together content creators, artists, activists, educators, athletes, and digital storytellers to connect global goals with everyday life.

Welcoming the content creators, Stefan Liller, Resident Representative of UNDP Bangladesh, said, “The SDGs can only succeed if people see themselves in them. Our SDG Socialisers demonstrate how creative storytelling can turn global goals into something personal, local, and actionable.”

Md Abdul Quayyum, UNDP Bangladesh Head of Communications, said: “With a few more years left to achieve the SDGs, we need social media content that goes beyond awareness. Through SDG Socialisers, we aim to connect people to the goals and encourage action.”

Through SDG Socialisers, UNDP Bangladesh continues to promote innovative, people-centred approaches to development communication, reports BSS.
