Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today phoned Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and congratulated her on her party's resounding victory in the parliamentary elections for the fourth consecutive term.

The Prime Minister of India gave this information in a post on social media X (former Twitter) on Monday evening.

In his X post Narendra Modi said, "I spoke to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and congratulated her on creating history by winning the parliamentary elections for the fourth consecutive term.’
