S. Africa President greets Prof Yunus on UNGA sidelines

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa met Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the UN headquarters in New York on Wednesday.


The South Africa president greeted the Bangladesh chief adviser, according to the CA’s press wing.

Both the leaders exchanged pleasantries on the occasion.

Prof Yunus held a bilateral meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in New York today, reports BSS.

He will also join a bilateral meeting with Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli on the sidelines of the UNGA.

The chief adviser is scheduled to join a reception, hosted by US President Joe Biden, at 17.30 pm (NY time).
