US Charge d'Affaires Meets with Chief Adviser

Helen LaFave, the Charge d'Affaires of the United States embassy, met with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today at the State Guest House Jamuna.

The discussion focused on mutual interests and followed up on key points from recent meetings between Prof. Yunus and US President Joe Biden, as well as Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
During the meeting, LaFave announced that a high-level US delegation is set to visit Bangladesh in the coming weeks and outlined the topics to be addressed during the visit.
Prof. Yunus highlighted the interim government's reform initiatives, noting that six major reform commissions have already begun their work and will be consulting with stakeholders across the country.
