Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain
"We have no reason to speculate about any major shifts," he told reporters at the foreign ministry this evening.
Touhid expressed confidence that Bangladesh’s diplomatic ties with the United States will continue smoothly throughout the remainder of Trump's presidency. He also acknowledged that the incoming US administration may make some comments, but assured that Bangladesh will monitor them carefully.
"Our relations with India, China, and the US are crucial," he said. "We are committed to maintaining a balanced approach in our diplomacy with these key nations while safeguarding Bangladesh’s interests."
The foreign adviser emphasized that Bangladesh will continue to nurture strong and cooperative ties with these three global powers, ensuring its national interests remain protected.
