Commonwealth chief Shirley meets CEC Nasir

Commonwealth Secretary General Shirley Botchwey today met Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin to discuss preparations for the forthcoming 13th National Parliament elections and the referendum.


The meeting was held at 11:00 am at the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon here, where the Secretary General led a six-member delegation. 

Election Commission Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Hossain also attended the talks.

Shirley Botchwey arrived in Dhaka last Thursday on a five-day official visit, reports BSS.
