Two Dakhil examinees were killed in a road accident at Ghatail upazila in Tangail district on Friday night.



Two Dakhil examinees were killed in a road accident at Ghatail upazila in Tangail district on Friday night.

The deceased were Naeem Khan, 15, son of Fazlu Khan, and Shakil Khan, 15, son of Abdus Sattar, residents of Egarkhania village under Sanggrampur union. They were examinees from Darus Sunnah Dakhil Madrasa.

Locals said Naeem and Shakil were going to Chankhola market from Deojana by a motorcycle at night. At that time, a battery-powered auto van hit their motorcycle in front of Azadia Madrasa, leaving them seriously injured.

Locals rescued them and took them to hospital where they died while undergoing treatment there.

Ghatail Police Station officer in-charge Ajharul Islam confirmed the matter on Saturday morning.
