Noman’s motorcade comes under attack in Khagrachhari
The motorcade of BNP vice chairman Abdullah Al Noman came under attack allegedly in Khagrachhari on Friday .
The motorcade of BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman came under attack allegedly in Khagrachhari on Friday (May 26).
The incident took place in front of the local Awami League office around 11:30am in the area.
Khagrachhari district BNP president Wadud Bhuyian claimed that Abdullah Al Noman was going to the district town to join the scheduled programme at noon. Meanwhile, the incident took place leaving five BNP leaders and activists. The car of Abdullah Al Noman was vandalised, but he remained unharmed.
K M Islmail, general secretary of Khagrachhari district Juba League said BNP leaders and activists attacked first. Then, Awami League activists responded to the attack.
Khagrachhari police super Naimul Haque said that the overall situation in the area is under control.
