Man’s body recovered from field in Kushtia

Police recovered the body of a 42-year-old man from a field in Hossainpur-Dalua village under Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia Sunday.



Police recovered the body of a 42-year-old man from a field in Hossainpur-Dalua village under Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia around 10 am Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Rashedul Islam, 42, son of late Peer Pramanik, resident of Gacherdiar village of Daulatpur upazila.
According to locals, a farmer saw the body of the man in the field while cutting grass.
Later, Bheramara police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Officer-in-Charge of Bheramara Police Station Jahurul Islam said, "Rashedul was strangled to death and his body was left in the field. Investigation is on and legal action will be taken soon.”
