Lightning strike kills teen girl in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar, Oct 23 - A 16-year-old girl died after being struck by lightning in Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar. 

The deceased Roksana Aktar was daughter of one Jaker Ahmed of Koralkhali area under Saharbil union of the upazila.

Jamal Hossain, a member of the union parishad, said the lightning struck her on Tuesday

while she was cleaning the yard with a broom in the evening, leaving her dead on the spot.-UNB
