Cracks were found at several buildings in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar after a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit the district on Saturday .



Cracks were found at several buildings in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar after a 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit the district on Saturday (February 25).
Some photos of cracks went viral in social media after the tremor.
However, no information of damage or casualties have been reported so far in the district.
The tremor was felt at 4:39pm, Assistant Meteorologist at the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office Abdur Rahman said.
He said the earthquake’s epicenter was located at latitude 20.9 degrees and longitude 92.33 degrees in Myanmar, which is approximately 377km south and southeast of Dhaka.
