The Election Commission (EC) has released the final list of the total number of voters in the country, including those added to the list in 2024. Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin said that the total number of voters in the country is currently 123.7 million.

The CEC gave this information at the inaugural ceremony of National Voters' Day in front of the Election Building in Agargaon on Sunday (March 2).

This year's theme is 'In Your and My Bangladesh, Let's Vote In Unison'. The EC has organized a discussion meeting on the occasion of Voters' Day. The field-level election offices will also hold various programs.

National Identity Registration Division Director General ASM Humayun Kabir said that according to the existing rules, National Voters' Day is celebrated on March 2 every year. According to that rule, the final voter list will be published on Voters' Day Sunday. Earlier, the draft voter list was published on January 2. ‎
