39th FOBANA Conference on 29, 30, 31 August 2025 at Niagra Falls Sheraton

The 39th FOBANA Conference will be held on 29, 30, 31 August at the Sheraton Hotel in Niagara Falls.

Six leaders of FOBANA are now in Dhaka to ensure the participation of guests and artists from Bangladesh to make this conference a success. They are the three former chairmen of FOBANA, Ejaz Akhtar Taifique, Ali Imam Sikder and Dr. Abu Dara Jobayer; current treasurer Firoz Ahmed, member Zillur Rahman Zillu and acting general secretary and convener of the 39th FOBANA Conference Preparatory Committee, Kazi Sakhawat Hossain Azam.

Every year expatriate Bangladeshis in North America organize the FOBANA (Federation of Bangladesh Associations of North America) conference. In addition to increasing close relations among expatriate Bangladeshis, introducing the new generation to Bangladesh's life, art and culture; history and tradition; seminars and discussions are organized at the FOBANA conference. It also deliberates on various problems of people living in North America and their solutions.

The FOBANA conference is basically a gathering. As always, this year's conference will discuss expatriate and domestic politics, Donald Trump's new administration in America and the interim government in Bangladesh. At the same time, seminars will be organized on the environment, global economy, Bangladesh's river and water problems and immigration to the United States.

The FOBANA conference is also a golden opportunity to showcase products produced in the country and new books published to the expatriates. One of the attractions of the conference is the fair. Bangladeshi industrialists and businessmen can rent stalls there. They can sponsor various programs of the conference to promote their business or products.
