Abahani Limited to observe Sheikh Kamal's 47th martyrdom anniversary Monday

Dhaka, 13 Aug - Abahani Limited will observe the 47th martyrdom anniversary of its founder Shaheed captain Sheikh Kamal on Monday (August 15) through various programmes on the club premises, said a press release.

To mark the day, the club directors, officials and players will pay homage by placing wreath at the portrait of Sheikh Kamal early Monday at 12.01 am and offer special prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Besides, the national flag and club's flag will remain at half mast and black flags will be hoisted. Wreaths will be laid on Sheikh Kamal's grave at Banani and food will be distributed among the poor and destitute people after Zohr prayers on club premises.
