Fakirerpool, Farashganj split point in BCL

DHAKA - Fakirerpool Yong Men’s Club split point with old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw in the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.

After the barren first half, Dalim finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Fakirerpool Yong Men’s Club in the 83rd minute, but their lead lasted a little when Jabed restored the parity for Farashganj in the 84th minute of the match.

Saturday’s matches: Wari Club vs Fortis Football Club (6.30 pm) and Agrani Bank Limited Sports Club vs Victoria Sporting Club (8.30 pm). Both the matches will be held at the same venue.BSS
