Primary School Gold Cup Football held in Narail

Narail, 13 Jan - Narail Primary School Gold Cup (boys' and girls')
Football tournament, on occasion of Festival of Youth 2025, was held at
Birshreshtha Nur Mohammad Stadium in Narail on Monday.

Narail Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akter Jahan formally inaugurated the meet
as the chief guest, organised by the District Primary Office in Narail.

Narail Police Super Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, Additional Deputy Commissioner
(Education and ICT) Md. Ahsan Mahmud Russell and Sadar Upazila Executive
Officer Sanchita Biswas were present as special guests in the inaugural
function, presided over by District Primary Education Officer Md Jahangir
Alam.

The finale of the tournament was held in the afternoon. The teachers of
different primary schools of three upazilas of the district were present in
the opening and closing ceremonies.

District Primary Education Officer Md. Jahangir Alam said this football
tournament is organised with an aim of increasing the morale of primary-level
students through competition to develop their physical, mental and artistic
development along with education.
