Tabith elated by achievement of women's football team

Dhaka, 8 Feb - Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Tabith Awal wished his best to the Bangladesh National Women's Football team 

which was selected for the Ekushey Padak-2025, the second-highest civilian 
award of the country.

In response to BSS quarry, he stated, "We remain proud of the achievements 
and recognition received by the women players and specifically the national 
team. We look forward to more such achievements and recognition in the future 
for the women's team."
 
Earlier on Thursday last, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs announced that the 
women's football team was selected for the prestigious Ekushey Padak 2025 
award in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the country's 
sports sector.

After the introduction of the award in 1976, this is the first time a 
sporting team will receive the recognition in the history of the country's 
sports arena.BSS
