BFF Elite Football Academy post win in BCL
Dhaka, 12 March - BFF Elite Football Academy team beat Wari Club by 2-1 goals in the second round match of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League football held at Fortis ground in the capital on Wednesday.
In the day’s match, Salah Uddin Shahed and Hafizur Rahman scored one goal each for the winners’ in the 44th and 90+2nd minutes respectively. Shohag Bormon netted a lone goal for the losers’ in the 68th minute of the match.
In the second match of the day, Uttar Baridhara Club split points with old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground.
Toriqul Islam put Farashganj ahead in the 42nd minute while after the breather, Faisal Ahamed restored the parity for Baridhara in the 74th minute of the match.
Meanwhile, in the remaining second round matches tomorrow (Thursday), PWD Sports Club face City Club at Fortis ground, Dhaka Rangers Football Club meet BRTC Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground and Little Friends Club take on Arambagh Krira Sangha at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
All the matches begin at 2.45 pm.
