Palestinian medical officials have confirmed that an Israeli airstrike hit a home in northern Gaza, killing at least 19 people, including displaced civilians. The attack targeted a shelter in Beit Lahiya late Tuesday night, with casualties brought to the nearby Kamal Adwan Hospital early Wednesday morning.

The victims were among those seeking refuge in the already devastated area, which has been heavily impacted by ongoing military operations. There has been no immediate response from the Israeli military regarding the strike.

Since the beginning of October, Israel has intensified its offensive against Hamas in northern Gaza, following the group's attacks on Israeli targets.
