Jeddah, 30 January, 2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the continuation and escalation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, the latest of which was the shelling of the town of Tamoun in Tubas Governorate, leading to the killing of ten citizens, and the continued aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, which resulted in the killing of 17 citizens and the wounding and arrest of dozens, in addition to the organized terrorism practiced by extremist settler groups, and the widespread destruction of infrastructure and the establishment of hundreds of military checkpoints and steel gates at the entrances to Palestinian cities and towns.

The OIC warned of the danger of continuing war crimes, forced displacement, annexation, and Israeli colonial settlement, which constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and international resolutions. It also renewed its call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take the necessary measures to compel Israel, the occupying power, to stop its aggressive policies and hold it accountable for them, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people. – OIC News
