Dr. Zahid Hossain, Minister for Womens Affairs left Dhaka for Islamabad to attend a OIC Womens Affairs Conference.



Dhaka, July 10: Women and Children Affairs Minister and BNP Standing Committee Member Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain left Dhaka for Islamabad, Pakistan, on Friday to represent Bangladesh at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Women’s Affairs Conference.

He departed for Islamabad from Dhaka on Friday afternoon.

BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.

The ninth OIC Women’s Affairs Conference, focusing on women’s empowerment, protection of rights and socio-economic development of women in the 57 OIC member states, will be held in the Pakistani capital. - UNB
