World Investor Week 2023 by BSEC begins capital Dhaka

Dhaka, Oct 02 - The World Investor Week 2023 began in the capital on Monday to stress on the importance of investors' knowledge about the capital market and their protection.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has organized the program at its multipurpose hall at BSEC at Agargaon in the afternoon. 

The World Investor Week 2023 will continue till October 12.

Emeritus Professor Nazrul Islam, former Chairman of university Grants Commission, was the chief gust at the inaugural session. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Nazrul Islam has laid emphasis on creating awareness on various aspects of capital market.

Addressing the program, BSEC Chairman Prof Shibly Rubayat Ul Islam, stressed the need for enhancing investment in human resources, land and potential blue economy of Bangladesh.

Among others, BSEC Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Halim also spoke on the occasion.
