Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam has called on Turkish entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities in Bangladesh’s economic zones, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral economic ties.

He extended the invitation during a meeting with Turkish Minister of Trade, Professor Ömer Bolat, held on the sidelines of the "Antalya Diplomacy Forum-2025" in Türkiye, according to a press release issued by the ministry today.

The two sides discussed key aspects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Highlighting the long-standing ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two nations, Prof. Ömer Bolat reaffirmed Türkiye's commitment to deepening economic engagement with Bangladesh.

He also expressed interest in convening a session of the Türkiye-Bangladesh Joint Economic Commission in Dhaka later this year, as part of the effort to boost trade and investment between the two countries.
