All our homes and hospitals

Destroyed-

By the Israeli soldiers

So savage n uncivilized!

Most of our people perished

Following Israel’s military action

Few among those who survived

Waiting to die due to starvation!

No food, no home, no water

Living under the open air

With depression n despair

Life could never be so bitter!

As unavailable

A doctor performed the surgery

Without anesthesia!

Amputated my right leg-

So badly injured

By enemy’s air-strike

No alternative-

But to be severed!

Believe-

I felt no pain,

I am just nine

A Child of Palestine!

We the Children of Palestine

Conquered all sorrows n pain!

Learned how to overcome

Life’s stress and strain!

Happy Eid has returned again

We in our war stricken Palestine

No scope to celebrate Eid-

Living on uncertain life-line!

But I wish all the best-

To all the people of Universe-

Celebrate this day of joy and fest

With due charm and cheers!
