Journalist leader and eminent cartoonist MA Quddus dies.



Journalist leader and eminent cartoonist MA Quddus is no more.

He died of cardiac arrest at his Shaheenbagh residence at Tejgaon in the city.

He was 48.

Quddus was the senior vice president of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ).

He worked for Daily Sangbad, Daily Ittefaq and other media houses.

His namaz-e-janaja was held at Jatiya Press Club after Zohr prayer. He will be buried at his family graveyard in Rajbari.
