Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to President Abdul Hamid, whose tenure is set to expire next week (April 24).
The President greeted the Prime Minister with flowers on his arrival at Bangabhaban in the evening.
President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed the reporters that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina informed the President about various issues including her recent visit to Qatar during the meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended Iftar with members of the President's family.
Cabinet Secretary, Prime Minister's Principal Secretary and Secretaries of the Office of the President and Prime Minister were present on the occasion.
Before Iftar, a special prayer was offered seeking the welfare of the country and nation, reports UNB.
