BGB calls for preventing illegal border crossings

Dhaka, Aug 07 - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has called for public cooperation to prevent unauthorized border crossings.

In a message issued on Wednesday, the BGB requested assistance from all citizens to curb fleeing the country through the borders.

The BGB has provided two mobile phone numbers—+8801769-600682 and +8801769-620954—for the public to report any suspicious activities or attempts to cross the border illegally.

The call for cooperation comes in the wake of a noticeable surge in border crossings following the resignation and exit of Sheikh Hasina.-UNB
