4 more set to take oath as advisers for interim govt on Friday

Four more advisers to join the newly-formed interim government Friday



Dhaka, Aug 15 - Four more advisers are set to join the newly-formed interim government led by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.

Former Cabinet Secretary Ali Imam Majumder will be appointed as an adviser with the status of Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, according to sources from the Cabinet Division on Thursday.

The other three advisers are economist Wahiduddin Mahmud, former power secretary Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan, and Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

Sources from the Cabinet Division and Bangabhaban have said that the oath-taking ceremony for the new advisers will take place tomorrow (Friday).-UNB
