Monir Haider Appointed Special Assistant to Chief Adviser

Veteran journalist Monir Haider has been appointed as the Special Assistant (Consensus Building) to the Chief Adviser, with the rank and status of a senior secretary.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification regarding the appointment on Wednesday, according to a press release issued today.

As per the gazette, the appointment is contractual and will remain effective for six months from the date of his joining.

The notification states that Monir Haider must relinquish all professional engagements, including affiliations with any businesses, government, semi-government, or private organisations, as a condition of his appointment.

Other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined by the contract, the circular added.
