Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to inaugurate the 7th National Comdeca 2025, which will take place at the iconic Sirajganj town protection embankment from February 19-25.

The Chief Adviser will open the 7-day event virtually from Dhaka, as confirmed by the Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, in a statement to BSS.

Organized by Bangladesh Scouts under the theme “Building a Discrimination-Free Society,” the event is expected to draw around 6,000 participants, including 4,000 rover scouts and 1,500 volunteers.

Bangladesh Scouts Assistant Director, Nasir Uddin, mentioned that both the Bangladesh Scouts headquarters and the Sirajganj district administration are closely monitoring preparations to ensure the success of the event.

Notably, the third edition of Comdeca was also held in Sirajganj in 2001.
