Ramna Bhaban at Gulistan, caught fire at early Wednesday

The fire fighters brought the fire that broke out in a six-storey market at Gulishtan in the capital under control within half an hour's intense efforts.

The fire erupted in MR Court Tailors housed on the third floor of the six-storey Ramna Bhaban around 12:30am today.
Zone Commander of Fire Service and Civil Defence Faisalur Rahman told a media briefing at the fire site, reports BSS.  
On information, four fire engines from Siddique Bazar Fire Station rushed to the place of occurence within five minutes and brought the blaze under control around 12:58am today, Faisalur Rahman said.
The cause behind the fire and extent of damage could not be ascertained without investigation, he further said.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
