Another Tk 2.5cr of robbed Tk 11.25cr of DBBL recovered, 8 held
The Detective Branch (DB) of police has recovered another Tk 2.54 crore, out of the Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL)’s Tk 11.25 crore.
The Detective Branch (DB) of police has recovered another Tk 2.54 crore, out of the Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL)’s Tk 11.25 crore which was mugged from a security company’s vehicle at Diabari area under Turag Police Station on Thursday (March 9) morning.
Eight people including two directors of security company concerned have been arrested in connection with the incident.
DMP Additional Commissioner of Police and Head of DB Mohammad Harun Or Rashid disclosed the information at a press conference on Sunday (March 12) noon.
Earlier, detectives recovered some Tk 9 crore, out of the Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL)’s Tk 11.25 crore which was mugged from a security company’s vehicle at Diabari area under Turag Police Station.
The DBBL authorities filed a mugging case against unidentified muggers with Turag Police Station in connection with the incident.
