Miscreants stab old man to death in Dhaka’s Kadamtali



Dhaka, July 12 - A 50-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in Kadamtali area of Dhaka, said police.

Deceased Md Mahbub Alam was resident of Dakshin Dhania area under Kadamtali police station.

The victim’s brother Rafiqul Alam said, miscreants stabbed Mahbub with sharp weapons on his way to the residence through Paterbag Jamildar Goli in Dhania area around 10:15 on Thursday night.

Hearing screams, locals rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the physicians declared him dead around 11pm, he said, quoting the hospital’s police outpost in-charge Md Bachhu Mia.

The body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy, he said, adding that his brother has two offspring.-UNB
