“734 cases filed, Tk 31 lakh fine imposed for breaching traffic rules”

The drive against traffic rule violators conducted on Saturday



Dhaka, Sept 22 -The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 734 cases and imposed fines of around Tk 31 lakh after conducting drives against traffic rule violators on Saturday.

Jahangir Kabir, assistant commissioner (media) of DMP, said this in a media release on Sunday.

Of the fined money, the traffic police realised Tk 3 lakh and 34, 500 in cash.

Sixty-four vehicles were dumped and 35 others were towed during the drives conducted in parts of the capital.-UNB
