Shafiqul Islam made new DB chief of DMP

Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, a member of the 18th BCS batch, has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner (Detective Branch) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).


The appointment was made through an official order signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Mohammad Sajjat Ali on Wednesday.

Prior to this new assignment, Shafiqul served as a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Highway Police Range, reports UNB.
