Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, suggested a potential return to politics, asserting that the Awami League remains a vital force.

In a video message released Wednesday, Joy emphasized that "democracy and elections are impossible without the Awami League."
He condemned the recent violence against ordinary citizens, Awami League grassroots leaders, and minority communities.
"We cannot stay passive while people are attacked," Joy said, affirming that the family of Bangabandhu supports the people of Bangladesh.
