Travel ban imposed on ex-lawmaker Tanvir Imam, his wife

A court here today imposed a travel ban on former lawmaker of Sirajganj-4 constituency Tanvir Imam and his wife Mahin Imam over graft allegations.

 
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Zaglul Hossain passed the order, allowing a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
 
ACC deputy director Mohammad Joynul Abedin filed the plea before the court, while the public prosecutor representing the anti-graft body, Adv Mir Ahmed Ali Salam moved the petition, reports BSS.
