Advisory Council meets at Jamuna state guest house, 10 May 2025.

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus will hold a meeting with all advisers of the interim government at his official residence, Jamuna, at 4pm today (15 June).

Multiple adviser offices and an official from the Chief Adviser’s Office confirmed the meeting.

Government sources said the chief adviser is expected to exchange post-Eid greetings and update the advisers on his recent trip to London, where he met BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Deputy Press Secretary Azad Majumder said he was unaware of the meeting’s specific agenda but noted that such informal gatherings are common.

When asked whether the London meeting would be discussed, he said, "It could be."

On 13 June, CA Yunus met with Tarique Rahman in London. They reportedly discussed key issues, including the possibility of holding the next national election in the second week of February, pending necessary preparations.
