'Barrister Abdus Salam Smriti Sangsad' organised the programme marking the 26th death anniversary of BNP former secretary general late Barrister Abdus Salam Talukder, said a press release.
BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan addressed the programme as the chief guest.
Stating that something bad can happen if the people are dissatisfied with the behavior of BNP leaders of any level, Nazrul Islam Khan said, "We have to go to the doorstep of the voters keeping the next election in mind. If the people are dissatisfied, afraid, or terrified due to the behavior of any of our leaders at any level, then the party will be the victim."
He urged the BNP leaders and activists not to do any type of misconduct with the common people.
Paying rich tribute to late Barrister Abdus Salam Talukder, the senior BNP leader said, "If we love and respect Salam Talukder, then we will learn from him and work for the welfare of the country and its people in the coming days."
Nazrul Islam Khan said, "I believe that in the future, we will work according to the instructions of our leaders Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman. Tarique Rahman is constantly giving speeches. We should take lessons from his speeches. Begum Khaleda Zia is giving us directions in her speeches. We should take them into consideration, we should follow them."
