Patuakhali: A human chain and rally was held in Kalapara of Patuakhali to protest the attack and torture of journalists in Dhaka on October 28.
This program was organized by Reportas Club on the road in front of the local press club at around 11 o'clock on Friday.
Former President of Kalapara Press Club Mejbah Uddin Mannu, President of Reporters Club HR Mukta, General Secretary of Reporters Unity Farid Uddin Bipu, Journalist SK Ranjan, Milon Karmakar Raju, Md Saidur Rahman among others spoke at the rally.
Meanwhile, the speakers demanded exemplary punishment by bringing the torturers of journalists under the law. - Gofran Biswas Palash
