Gas supply will remain suspended for twelve hours in some areas of Tongi, a major township in Gazipur Thursday (July 6) due to emergency repair work of gas pipeline.

This was confirmed in a press release issued from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd on Wednesday (July 5).

Gas supply in some areas of Tongi involving BSCIC area and both sides of road to Vadam area from Cherag Ali cross-road will remain suspended due to emergency repair work of gas pipeline, according to the press release.

Residents of these areas will not get gas for twelve hours starting from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, the press release said.

Titas authorities apologized to the residents of those areas for this temporary inconvenience.
