Partial Solar Eclipse to Occur on September 21

A partial solar eclipse is set to take place on Sunday, September 21, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a press release.

The eclipse will not be visible in Bangladesh but can be observed in parts of New Zealand, eastern Melanesia, southern Polynesia, and western Antarctica.

The event will last 4 hours and 24 minutes, beginning at 11:29 pm on September 21 and ending at 3:53 am on September 22. The peak of the eclipse will occur at 1:41 am on September 22.
