University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organised an orientation programe sUNday for the newly enrolled students in the Spring-2023 semester.



University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organised an orientation programe sUNday for the newly enrolled students in the Spring-2023 semester.
Chairman of Board of Trustees (BOT) of the University, Dr. M. Alauddin, was present as the Chief Guest. In his speech, Dr. Alauddin thanked the students for choosing UAP as their destination for higher education.
He assured the freshers of extending all out cooperation from the Board of Trustees at UAP.
He also advised them to get involved in co-curricular activities that help a student to be more competitive in the current job market.
Vice Chancellor of UAP Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan chaired the event. He advised the freshers’ to make the best use of UAP’s resources.
Addressing the new students, Pro-Vice Chancellor of UAP Professor Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud said that the day is significant because students will be inducted into the world of academia.
UAP Registrar Professor Shahriyar Anam shared some essential rules and regulations of UAP with the freshers while Takad Ahmed Chowdhury, Director of Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) of UAP introduced fresher’s with the clubs and its regular activities.
Dean of School of Environmental Sciences and Design Professor Sayeed M. Ahmed, and Dean of School of Engineering Professor Dr. Muhammad Mizanur Rahman delivered their speeches at the orientation program.
The heads of departments, faculty members, administrative staff, freshers and their parents and guardians joined the event. At the end of the program, a discussion meeting was arranged with guardians to learn about their expectations from the university.
